Kahala Beach Wedding : Tyler + Taryn

Hope everyone’s week is going great!  Mine is great, my son still wishes a Happy Mother’s Day.  Everyday is mothers day right?  I also got the OK from my Dr to cut down on my glucose test.  Those little finger pricking gets a little annoying….I was telling a friend of mine that it hurts but it doesn’t.  I think because I’m expecting the needle.  BUT I am eating healthier…with an exception of a thin non GMO cookie here and there (are cookies really healthy?)

Anyway…. on to this gorgeous destination wedding….

Taryn and Tyler visited Oahu while planning their destination wedding.  We had coffee and some laughs.  Gave them some Oahu wedding info since planning a wedding from Vancouver was hard.  Everything turned out so great.

On the day of their wedding, I met Taryn at her hotel room at the Shoreline.  Her mom made her bouquet, Taryn did her own makeup, and her ruffly dress was to die for!  I loved it!  I felt bad for her because she was nursing a cold, but that didn’t stop her.  She still looked beautiful that you couldn’t tell!

Tyler came by when she was ready to get a first look at her … I love getting the groom’s reaction to their bride.  Reaction is even sweeter than when the groom sees her bride walking down the aisle for the first time.  Well both is sweet, I just think grooms are more open when they’re alone.

We left for Kahala Beach and it was a little crowded because of a golf tournament.  Where we were didn’t matter though. The location, the view, the music, everything was perfect.

After ceremony and photos we caught a lovely sunset from the Sheraton Moana Surfrider right before their reception dinner.  The both of them were so sweet and I was honored to be part of their special day.
