I was honored to work with CK Cinema for an engagement photosession recently. They are based in Maui and traveled here to capture Rochelle and Eric’s Love Story for their wedding. They were so great to work with and wanted to share their work. I attached their ‘Love Story’ they showed on their wedding day back on Maui, which got some of my work in there from their engagement session. You even get to see my shoulder in there! haha!
– How long have you been doing videography?
I became interested in videography at a young age, but it probably wasn’t till high school that I started to really get into it. And after high school is when I decided to open up my business. So all in all, I’ve been doing videography for about 14 years now and still going.
– What is your storytelling approach?
Every story is unique; there really isn’t only one approach to tell a story. There are a lot of factors that come into play, and basically once I talk to the client and get to know them is when I start to visualize their story in my head.
– Do you have a style?
I shoot in an unorthodox fashion, but if I had to explain my style, it would be a blend of cinematic, journalistic, and storytelling.
– What makes you different from other videographers?
After getting to know the client, I use all the little details during the wedding day to create a video, tailor made to fit their love story.
– HD ready video?
All of our videos are HD ready, soon to be UHD ready.
– How do you coordinate with other photographers during the wedding day?
We usually just tell them to get the shots that they need and we work around them.
– Do you travel to all the islands?
Yes, I love to travel.
I also wanted to share the wedding video they did of the both of them too both in Maui. It was beautiful, it made CRY! Well you know why, haha!
Congratulations Rochelle + Eric! You both looked gorgeous! Wish I was there to capture your wedding day too! Best wishes guys!
