My favorite makeup artist I recommend is Faith & Beauty. I started my business around the same time as Gemina from Faith and Beauty, so we’ve known each other for a while. Love seeing her when I walk into the brides room and she’s there. She recently did the makeup for my recent bride Rie and Takuya from Sunset Ranch and Joyce’s Vow Renewal.
She’s awesome, very easy to get along with and can beautify you for your special day. She also just had a little baby, who is ADORABLE! Look at her curls!
MAKEUP TIPS
Leading up to the wedding day, to ensure a flawless appearance aside from your makeup its a great idea to indulge in some pre wedding pampering. Simple things like a great moisturizer, eye cream, and exfoliation will make sure you skin is up to par and glowing for your big day.
Another important thing people tend to forget, is cleaning up their facial hair like a nice brow shape/wax, lip wax or even face wax. This always allows the makeup to not only go on smoother, but it gives you a more polished appearance.
Choosing your makeup and hair for your big day can be really difficult to narrow down into one choice. My best advice is always to go with neutrals tones wether is be neutral grays, neutral pinks, neutral browns etc. Of course every bride has their own style, but choosing something less eccentric and more timeless is always your best bet. Not only that, but neutrals tend to compliment all skin tones and photo graph great as well.
Applying lashes is a MUST if your the bride to be. It will set you apart from the rest and really make your eyes stand out nicely. Some people have a misconception that all false lashes are too dramatic. I personally prefer softer lashes really enhance what you already have. Nobody will even know your wearing them =)
