As a woman we know that one of the best things to do for ourselves is self care! Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life, so make sure to pamper yourself and let go of all the stress and worries that the day has brought. Here are some of my tips that I love to do to take care of myself!
- Meditate. I love to wake up early and find a few minutes to just breathe and be thankful to be alive! Gratitude and mindfulness are key to starting of the day right!
- Stretch. It always feels good to start moving your body right when you wake up. Just a few cat/cow curls and some downward facing dogs and you are good to go! Maybe even catch a yoga or Pilates class if you have time!
- Hydrate. Your body is dehydrated after hopefully having a good night’s sleep! Drinking a tall glass of water with lemon helps to balance the PH in your body and aids your digestion.
- Breakfast. You may be too nervous to eat, but trust me, you don’t want to spend the day with an empty stomach! Some of my favorite breakfasts are Acai bowls, papaya boats, and avocado toast. Or plan a nice little brunch and mimosa date with your bridal tribe!
- Morning face routine- Make sure to do your normal routine- wash, tone, moisturize. Don’t do anything different that may cause redness or irritation.
- Massage- Scheduling a massage for yourself and your bridesmaids is a fun way to spend the day before you tie the knot.
- Get your nails done. Just an extra little thing to make yourself feel pretty and pampered.
- Simply relax and let be. This day is yours to cherish and you deserve to feel like a princess. Happy Wedding Day!
