The bride is the most beautiful woman on her special day. She glows and exudes the happiness and joy of the whole wedding. Every bride is beautiful in her own way, and here are some hair and makeup tips I’ve learned along the way, from watching each bride get ready for her big moment.

Keep moisturized and hydrated! Before you put on your makeup, make sure you have a nice clean face and are well moisturized. A good primer will also help to keep your makeup staying put all night!
Don’t be afraid to put on a little heavier makeup than you are used to. The camera can wash out a person, so a little extra color can brighten up your features.
Make sure you are comfortable with how you look. Have trust with your makeup artist and hairstylist to keep your natural beauty shining through.
Try something new! Maybe some fake eyelashes or a fierce up-do. A lot of brides opt for hair extensions. It’s your day to shine!
Keep it classy. Try to stay away from overly bright colors or garish looks.
For hairdos, a lot of hairstylists recommend not washing your hair the night before. Having slightly dirty hair will help hold a style and curls better.
Carry some rosewater mist and some blotting pairs, bobby pins and lipstick with you during the reception for quick touchups.
