I’ve been emailing with Joyce back and fourth about her destination vow renewal. I know you can’t tell a lot by emails, but her emails was always so happy. It was nice to talk and email with her! I helped her get some vendors together for her special day since planning an event from a far is difficult. It turned out great! From going through my work, she found that she wanted to be at Waimanalo Bay Beach.
WAIMANALO BAY BEACH
I got to Waimanalo Bay Beach and made sure with them that’s where it was because some people end up at another Waimanalo Beach 10 minutes down the road. Ofcourse that’s what happened 😉 Took them back over to Waimanalo Bay Beach where no one was there and it was much quieter, more serene.
In the middle of the ceremony it started to rain…but that didn’t stop the vows from coming out. When the guests ran for cover, I was shaking freezing my butt but still shooting, trying to cover my camera at the same time. haha. We call that Hawaiian Blessing and it’s all for good luck ofcourse.
HOW THEY MET
10 YEARS LATER
We wanted to renew our vows because we thought 10 years was very special to us…through many challenging obstacles in our lives, we managed to always stay by each others sides…and most importantly we wanted to share our vows this time with our children who means the world to us…LIFE IS SO SHORT and as long as we were given the opportunity to do this as a family, it was our dream to get married at our favourite place at one of the most beautiful beaches….and most importantly, this day wouldn’t have been as beautiful without our friends with their families who were able to came to join us…We were more than happy to have worked with such great people like Pinky Photography, Pomaikai Gongob and Bright Sky weddings!! They made this day so very special, epic and memorable for us…capturing moments I didn’t even realize during the ceremony..and we thank you all so very much.”
