Been sick the past week....you know that type of migraine if you look at the TV or computer screen, it makes the pain worse?  Well that was my week.  I'm bummed it also fell on to Valentines Day...aka girls day (ha!).  We had no reservations anywhere.  We thought it best to stay home and cook on such a crazy day..but cook for me while sick? No thanks.  It's just funny how every year we say we'll stay home to avoid the craziness, but that very night we'll end up waiting an hour with the crowd.

Oh well, I hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day!

I know I'm late with this, but I'm loving this instagram app!

{One of} my Christmas gift to me from me was a film camera.  Been hearing so much about film not being dead, making a come back, contax, mamiya, medium format, etc.  My group of friends even got into film photography, while I was in the group asking 'what was that? ohhhh (still not understanding what 'portra' meant or what a 'back' is).  So I found an old Canon EOS 3 for sale and got it.  I thought with all the craziness of wedding season, I forgot to shoot for ME.  Have fun with photography and shoot for ME.  So I thought this be fun.  Went to the KCC Farmer's Market and it was so great, colorful.  Still working on learning the different settings on this camera and the eye control focus thing, which is cool by the way.
