Some asked me how I stay thin or in shape...one word.... SHINOBU.  Besides photography I LOVE keeping active, being in shape. Once I'm on that exercise high, I'm hooked.  Also since I had my back surgery, I have to keep my back and core strong because if not I can hurt myself easily, I mean I can get out of bed wrong and hurt my back.  I don't like taking pain killers.  I first took Shinobu's yoga class after Chad got me a year's gym membership. Her yoga is so relaxing, even her voice is so soothing.  Then one day my friend Tiffany asked me to try zumba with her.  I thought it might be fun, so we went on a Thursday for a different instructor, and it was so fun.  I wanted to try it again the next night and when I saw my yoga teacher walking in I thought 'oh cool, it's my yoga teacher, I hope she rocks at zumba too...'  Oh my gosh, she more than rocks the class, the little yoga teacher is a big ball of energy.  Her zumba is so high energy, natural HIGH, and so fun, felt like I RAN for an hour straight.  Class ends with my clothes soaked in sweat.  I remember that first time I was out of breath and drank water every 5 minutes.  I was next to some older ladies and wondered how they do it, I thought 'if they can do it so can I!'  I did but I was about ready to throw up.  Also looking at her very toned and muscular body all I thought was 'I need to get a body like hers!' so that was it, that was my inspiration.  After that I became one of her 'followers'  I found she teaches zumba everywhere, so yes I'm at the gym 4 - 5 days a week.  I am not the only one, her zumba class is packed, packed with followers, even got a group of zumba friends.  Her positive and 'Never Give Up' mentality is so addicting.  I love her, she's one of my friends now and she not only makes my day, she gives me a positive outlook on life and has changed many others also.  To have that positive person if your life is a must.

Schoffield, Powerhouse, YMCA or 24 Hour Fitness, if you see her name under Zumba you HAVE to try it, you will not regret it!

Anyway here's some inspiration for you.  I know some people may think that they are not coordinated but just try it out and have fun, as Shinobu says 'Just have fun, it's just like going to the club'  and really it is, with some muscle toning moves =)
